A free-standing dressing station with a mirror, hooks and a shelf that has an organic, almost human quality, designed by Max Lamb for Dr Maria Balshaw CBE, Director of Tate. It has been dyed teal blue then sanded to emphasise the porosity of the red oak’s growth rings. Its flat-pack components slot together with no need for hinges or screws.
