Juliet's design process

When approaching the design, Juliet Quintero wanted to create something almost integrated with the nature surrounding it. What she came up with, was something resembling a bird's nest.

"From the inside we wanted to offer the experience of something like a cocoon, which would allow dappled light to come through so that you get a sense that you are within the trees. You have these fractured walls with slits where the light comes through, mimicking the woods nearby, and then this very direct view over the ponds. When the sun sets, there is an amazing reflection. It’s a space of contemplation and a space of reflection." - Juliet Quintero, Dallas-Pierce-Quintero
