“There is nothing that grows older faster than the new”

This is the guiding principle that inspired architect Matteo Thun to design The Wooden Beacons together with fashion house Marni. Their striking collaboration is a dialogue between their respective creative worlds: architecture and fashion. Hardware and software.

The raw and soft elements of the installation combine to make a stylish statement about the beauty and sustainability of the world’s most natural material. It has been named ‘The Wooden Beacons‘, since a beacon is a visible device designed as a signal, a warning or celebration.
