The Wooden Beacons is a multi-material installation by Matteo Thun and Marni; designed and made as a talking point about life cycle management for Interni Think Tank during the Fuori Salone.

The installation comprises three towering wooden cages, each containing sartorial materials, composed by Marni to inspire discussion around beauty and the sustainability of natural materials.

One beacon contains paper dress-making patterns. Another beacon is filled with bales of Marni fabrics in different prints. The third beacon supports a sphere with hanging jewellery pieces in wood, resin, horn and seeds. All suspended inside the cages with wire.
