Amanda Nevill commissioned Sebastian Cox to create a pencil case, a desk and a chair. Nevill’s vision is centred around the theme of writing and storytelling, something that is important to her personally as well as to her work at the British Film Institute. In a world where writing is a dying art, Nevill still writes real letters and keeps and inkpen. The commission started as a pencil case and, after developing the idea with Cox, grew into an entire writing compendium.
