The projects were all manufactured using American red oak, donated by the importer and distributor AE Maderas, in the La Navarra workshop located in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid. The finalists took an active part in the manufacturing of their design and the projects were made using a range of different techniques, such as steam bending and CNC-machining.
