5 of Australia’s top designers collaborated with AHEC to create seats from American cherry and American tulipwood.  New Zealand luminary David Trubridge contributed with his design created from thermally modified American ash. Shown at Australia’s top design event, Denfair, in June 2016 all the designs combined (11 pieces in total) have a carbon footprint of only 540 KG of CO2 equivalent. That’s about the same as the average Australian produces every 10 days.
