For over 25 years the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) has been at the forefront of international wood promotion, successfully building a distinctive and creative brand for U.S. hardwoods. AHEC’s global programme of activities secure a future for American hardwoods by demonstrating the performance and aesthetic potential of these sustainable materials, while providing valuable creative inspiration and technical advice.

Asif Khan’s London-based practice works across the fields of architecture, industrial and furniture design. It is dedicated to pushing these disciplines in innovative and unexpected directions.

Despite a slim portfolio Khan holds a clutch of prestigious awards, amongst which is the Cannes Lions Grand Prix for Innovation for his design and delivery of the MegaFaces Pavilion at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics. This is the first time the panel have awarded the prestigious prize to an architecture studio or a Russian project.
