Moea design studio
Moea is an experience-led design studio that exists to champion African Design. Established in 2021 by Cassandra Twala and Johanna von Stein, MOEA set out to create a hybrid studio that not only works on commissioned work for clients, but also creates its own platforms that elevate African creativity. Johanna von Stein, is an architect and designer driven by South Africa's remarkable talent and creativity, and deeply committed to crafting spaces that inspire and enrich the lives of others. Cassandra Twala is a self professed purveyor of African beauty. With a bachelor's degree in architecture, as well as an honors degree in brand strategy & communication, Cassandra has crafted a unique career path that traverses multiple creative disciplines. Their experience-led approach prioritizes people and process.
