The Runcible kitchen utensils, designed by Mathias Hahn, were made by Adam Kershaw and utilise American tulipwood which is light in weight but very strong. Adam’s role as the fabricator is to preserve the visual intention of Mathias Hahn’s designs while guiding him through the working qualities of American hardwood. The Runcible pieces are made from solid hard maple, a material traditionally used for this kind of high quality kitchenware because of its smooth grain and hardwearing properties.
