Heatherwick Studio has made a series of stack laminated and intricately carved table legs, which clamp securely yet elegantly to a glass table top. The tops of the table legs also form integral planters, adding an element of greenery to the table.  

The same principle is applied to a shelving unit, with carved timber uprights, and glass shelves. The seat is upholstered in Gotland shearling, with a carved base that references the other elements. The timber choice is American cherry with a dark tint.
