Adam created a solid American red oak console table, with a contrasting timber through the centre. His concept developed from wanting to ‘disrupt’ an otherwise traditional style of furniture. He also took inspiration from the work of designer and tutor Rod Wales. The table is made using solid American red oak with a clever veneer detail along the inside of the slits to show a contrast between the two different timbers.
