Diament Meblarstwa 2013
We are pleased to inform you that the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) will be the Honorary Patron of the seventh edition of “Diament Meblarstwa” (Diamond of Furniture).
The contest organized by meble.pl sp. z o.o. and Wydawnictwo meble.pl sp. z o.o. AHEC is supporting the Contest to promote sustainable design and good use of material for its suitability both aesthetically and functionally. With the aim to encourage the furniture industry representatives in Poland to use various species of American hardwood and embrace the sustainability of their products in the future.
The Contest is directed at manufacturers of furniture, accessories, semi-finished products and furniture components, whose registered seat or agency is located in Poland. “Diament Meblarstwa” awards are granted for outstanding achievements in design and originality of products. Winning an award may also improve the company’s position on the market and attract potential clients.
The Contest has 25 product categories, the main categories are “Diament Meblarstwa”, “Diament Design” and “Diament Inspiracje”. “Diament Meblarstwa” includes living-room, dining-room, bedroom and kitchen furniture, chairs or furniture components. Each category will have a winner, plus there will be an additional winner from each group of judges, who will present 4 special statuettes. The closing date for entries to the Contest is 15th October 2012.
AHEC European Director, David Venables, will be one of the Contest judges, he will be joined by furniture industry experts, organizations, scientists, media representatives, architects and interior designers.
The Contest Gala ceremony will be held in December 2012, accompanied by a catalogue highlighting all of the products submitted to the Contest.
